Taylor & Jono

post written on 21 Jun 11 in Weddings

As told by Jono & Taylor:

Love is king… in fact, Jono and Taylor King met at the end of December 2008 when Taylor was shopping for jewelry at King Jewelers in Miami, Florida. Jono King remembers the first time he saw his dream girl, they were both, very coyly checking each other out.  With a multi million-dollar inventory of Diamonds and watches, nothing else captivated him but her. When one of the salespeople asked 5-generation owner Jono for assistance with upgrading Taylor’s diamond earrings, she was so happy that he was the one coming to help her…a match was made from the heavens. Once they started talking, jewelry was not the conversation in hand; it was strictly about getting to know each other. Immediately Jono broke his rule of never dating costumers, and asked Taylor if he could take her to dinner. Taylor also knew with the butterflies in her stomach that she couldn’t wait to see him again. Taylor knew she had met her match.  Before their first date, Jono canceled his trip to Panama having a good feeling that this girl was the one. Their first date was 4 days later on New Years Eve, and the two have literally been inseparable since. Taylor, a highly successful entrepreneur and investor takes advantage of her flexible schedule, affording her the pleasure of traveling with Jono and the rest of the King family for business as well as pleasure around the world. Only a short 5 months after dating, Jono proposed to Taylor, in the most romantic heart felt proposal in Napa Valley, California. Taylor remembers that before the trip to Napa, both families were acting giddy and strange including Jono, who was coming home from work much later then usual claiming it was a special Engagement ring he was making for a client. The King family has made the most beautiful engagement rings in the world. Taylor, curious about the project and the lucky bride who was getting this special ring started asking questions. When Jono answered and described the ring, the sparkle in his eyes told her everything.  The couple were married at The Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach, Fl To top off the evening Kelly Rowland , a personal friend of the couple sang her hit “When Love takes over” , and love has taken over . Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

post written on 04 Jun 11 in Weddings

On May 14th, 2011, I was privileged to be part of my very good friend, Robert Evans, team of photographers, to help capture the images of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton wedding in Texas. Robert and I have helped each other out on each of our own weddings, always good to have a friend along with tons of experience to back you up per say. Full write up of the wedding is on Robert Evans blog.

All I can post for now is the cover of US Magazine that was photographed by Robert Evans. If you were fortunate enough to pick up a copy of the May 19th issue of US Magazine, you would have seen several images on the inside story photographed by Robert and myself.  There is also a “Where’s Waldo/Carlos” moment in the image of the actual wedding ceremony. Try to find me, hint, I have blue and white shirt on, and a camera, big hint.

Thank you Robert, it’s always fun to work with you.
